HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO EARN MY BLACK BELT?
This is determined by your pace and daily practice. Most students earn their Black Belts between 18 & 24 months. Can be shorter or longer depending on you. But it is not how fast you get your Black Belt that makes a difference. It is enjoying the process of getting your Black Belt that really matters.
IS MY RANK AND CERTIFICATION THE SAME AS A BRICK AND MORTAR KARATE SCHOOL?
Yes!!!! All of our students nationally, and internationally, brick and mortar and on-line students all use the sam curriculum and receive same rank, recognition, and certification.
WHAT FORM OF MARTIAL ARTS AM I TAKING?
You will be learning Tangsoodo Taekwondo. A Korean Art with roots from China. Tangsoodo means the way of the China hand. Taekwondo is the art of kicking, blocking, and punching.
WHAT DO I RECEIVE WHEN I SIGN UP?
You will have access to your first module orange belt curriculum and on-line video training as well as written and pre-test information to get you on your way to your Black Belt.
WILL I BE QUALIFIED TO TEACH?
Yes if you are interested in teaching. Once you have completed your Black Belt test you are qualified to enroll in our instructor training course. This course teach you how to instruct children and adults. Remember teaching is an art as well as learning. They both are very different.
IS BLACK BELT THE HIGHEST RANK I CAN GO?
We can teach you up to 7th degree (7th dan). You will continue to test for each degree. Each degree of Black Belt is based on perfecting your already learned techniques, forms, and weapon forms and learning new ones. Each degree also is based on your ability and proficiency to instruct. As well as what you are giving back to the art. Martial arts is not only about what you are given but what you are giving back to better yourself, and others. It is definitely better to give than to receive. But you can only give what you have received.
